We’ve been the spot for relaxation and celebration since the 18th century, but from our sleek bar and exquisitely decorated dining spaces to our covered beer garden for every season, we’ve had a couple of makeovers since then that make us a beautiful backdrop for celebratory drinks or special dinners.
Our private hire space includes everything you could possibly need, with Wi-Fi, a projector and screen, flip chart with paper and pens, bottled mineral water, and tea and coffee. Buffets and our gorgeous lunch and evening menus are also available – just ask our lovely team!

Our fully private hire space is as cosy and stylish as the rest of our British pub, with three steps from the restaurant into your private haven of hospitality. And if our sun-kissed beer garden is too tempting to ignore, you and your guests will have your own private entrance outside.

Our team of skilled chefs can provide a wide range of menus to suit your event, from buffets – featuring miniature versions of iconic pub classics and artisan sandwiches – to three-course meals.
For larger parties, our celebration and buffet menus are ideal and, as they’re inspired by our seasonal À La Carte menu, we’re sure there’ll be something to tempt everybody.
Of course, you can’t toast to the best moments without a drink, and our extensive wine list and expertly crafted drinks – including signature cocktails, smooth wines, craft beers and refreshing ciders – will satisfy your thirst.
